Coaches

Coaches needed for all age groups. Contact  Tom@goldcountrysoccer.org

The League is always looking for new coaches, simply send an Email to coaching@goldcountrysoccer.org and we will contact you with all the necessary details.

Individuals coaching at the recreational level are required to possess the basic level "F" license.  The F License is also a prerequisite for the next step up, the E License required for coaching at the club level.  Each year we offer a free F License clinic for prospective coaches at no cost, usually in early summer. (see this years dates below)

Mark your calendars!  It is time to sign up for coaching "F" licenses. First portion is an on-line class and the second portion is a field clinic. Tentative dates for the field clinic are July 22 OR July 29th. We are waiting for confirmation from Cal North and it may take a couple of weeks before we know the exact date. RSVP to president@goldcountrysoccer.org.

All Coaches (and perspective coaches) need to go into Bonzi and register as soon as possible.  Click here to get registered...  http://goldcountry.calnorthlive.com/home.php.

Coaches Rules/Responsibility Meeting

The two coaches meetings for 2017 are scheduled as follows:
  • Meeting 1 TBD
  • Meeting 2 TBD
This is a mandatory meeting. Coaches should attend if at all possible. If not available, an assistant or parent can be there in your place, but it’s critical that they convey all of the information back to you. Attendance at only one meeting is required.

At the meeting, fingerprinting will be done for all head coaches and assistant coaches who still need to have it done. Rosters will be handed out and critical information for the upcoming season will be covered. Pizza and drinks will be provided for all coaches attending. Please make every effort to attend.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held each fall near the end of the season.

This meeting is for you, your assistant coach or team representative to make suggestions on adjustments we can make to help our league improve. The GCYSL Board members will be there and would really like your input. Please plan on coming and sharing your suggestions. We will be buying you dinner so please come and talk with us.
