AGE GROUP UPDATE: As a reminder, US Soccer is changing its age group format starting this upcoming 26/27 season. Use the following link to identify what age group your child will be in. https://usclubsoccer.org/registration-player-age-groups/ ALL players must attend the tryout group for which they qualify by date of birth.
Attendance at both tryout days is mandatory for all players (new and returning) to be considered for team placement. Please let us know if you are enable to attend either day.

COMP OPEN HOUSE PRACTICES
May 18th - 25th, Mon - Fri.
Come check out the GCU teams in your player's age group. These practice sessions are a great way to meet the coach and previous team players and see if comp soccer could be the right fit for you! It's also a great way to reduce anxiety in anticipation of the tryout weekend. Attend as many as you would like! Register for these with the same registration as the tryouts, link above.

The league is typically notified by city/schools regarding field status, or will make a determination of conditions based on trusted sources, by 2pm each weekday. Please respect these sometimes difficult decisions and feel free to make your own decisions based on individual needs. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA BYGA EMAIL/NOTIFICATIONS OF ANY CANCELATIONS.
SMOKE: Events will cancel when Air Quality Index (AQI) is above 120. Resources used for AQI determination include: PurpleAir.com
HEAT: 100° = warning to coaches and suggest canceling practice (especially U6/U8). Practices and games in rec league canceled in 105° heat or higher
RAIN: if fields are closed, use best judgment, cancel in heavy storms, thunder lightning (Field Use Policy)
