Recreational Jamboree Format
The purpose of the Rec Jamboree is to kick off the season and train new USSF Certified Referees on real games. Score is NOT kept and there are no standings/championships.
Each team will play 2 games (a forfeited game is counted as a game).
Length of Games:
Age Group Times
U7/U8 2- 12 min halves
U9/U10 2 - 15 min halves
U12 2 - 20 min halves
U14 2 - 25 min halves
*5 minute halftime for all games.
Substitutions:
Unlimited substitution as follows:
Prior to either team’s throw-in
Prior to either team’s goal kick
After a goal, by either team
During an injury time-out, by either team
At half time, by either team
Limited substitution: A player presented with a caution (yellow card) may be substituted at that time, provided play has been stopped by the referee.
Guest Players:
GUEST PLAYERS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE JAMBOREE TOURNAMENT. Only those listed on each team’s goldenrod and BYGA roster are permitted to play the match.
Home team:
Provide the game balls (subject to the approval of the referees).
Wear the Home jersey (BLUE). In the event of a color conflict, the HOME TEAM must resolve the conflict (i.e., change jersey).
Ejections:
Any player or coach who is sent off (red card) from a game will be suspended from the team’s next game, at a minimum. Sendoffs will be reviewed by the Director of Coaching and depending on the infraction, additional penalties may be imposed and/or review by the PAD committee may be necessary.
Fields
All games are being played at Mautino Field, Lyman Gilmore, Scotten and Sierra College fields. The game schedule denotes the match location in BYGA.

THERE ARE NO DOGS ALLOWED AT ANY GCSL SOCCER VENUES
Rain:
Games that are not played due to rain will not be rescheduled.
Alcoholic Beverages, Tobacco or Controlled Substances:
Possession or consumption of the above is expressly prohibited at any of the sport complexes. Any team (including players, coaches, parents and/or spectators) found violating this rule will automatically forfeit all games played and face possible PAD Committee review.
Parents:
Teams will be on opposite sides of the field with parents on the same side of the field as the coaches and players. See field layouts at www.goldcountrysoccer.org
Sportsmanship:
Good sportsmanship is expected of all players, coaches, parents and spectators throughout this tournament. This event is a fun celebration of soccer where we train our referees, new coaches and new players in what to expect from a game environment.
NO NOISE MAKERS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED.
